UBAH Inspire Grand Opening New Fields and Equips Four Public and Private Schools in Hargeisa

Hargeisa, Somaliland –In a significant step toward empowering youth through sports and education, UBAH Inspire, with generous support from the European Union and in close partnership with Plan International, proudly inaugurated newly constructed football fields in four primary schoolsboth public and private—across Hargeisa.

The launch was marked by a vibrant community event that celebrated not only the opening of these much-needed sports facilities, but also the handover of essential sports equipment. Each participating school received footballs, basketballs, volleyballs, and a physical education manual designed to foster healthy lifestyles, teamwork, and leadership skills among young learners.

The event was graced by a number of esteemed government and community leaders, whose presence highlighted the shared commitment to youth empowerment in Somaliland:
