Ubah Organization Meets with the Ministry of Youth and Sports Ubah Inspire had the privilege of meeting with Hon. Ahmed Yasin Mohamed Farah, the Minister of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Somaliland, to discuss potential collaborations to advance women in sports. The meeting, which also included key figures such as Ms. Asma Jaamac Kaahin, Director of the Women’s Sports Development Department, and senior Ubax Inspire leaders—Executive Director Ms. Amoun Aden Ismail, Program Coordinator Amina Hamud, and Communications Team member Khadra Ahmed—provided an opportunity to exchange insights and explore ways to empower women through sports in Somaliland. This productive discussion sets the stage for a promising partnership focused on fostering women’s development and leadership in the sports sector. We look forward to working together to inspire and empower the next generation of women leaders.

🎉 We’re thrilled to share the success of our “Empowering Youth for Social Change” event, where we celebrated the awarding of small grants to three incredible youth-led initiatives: • Siraad Initiative • Sanaag Social Worker Organization (SSWO) • Youth Advisory Group (YAG) – The Care Leavers Association These grants will help advance social cohesion, human rights advocacy, and community empowerment through sports and arts.
