🎉 We’re thrilled to share the success of our “Empowering Youth for Social Change” event, where we celebrated the awarding of small grants to three incredible youth-led initiatives: • Siraad Initiative • Sanaag Social Worker Organization (SSWO) • Youth Advisory Group (YAG) – The Care Leavers Association These grants will help advance social cohesion, human rights advocacy, and community empowerment through sports and arts. The event was graced by esteemed guests who support youth and social development: • Khadar Haji, Director of Planning, Somaliland Ministry of Youth and Sports • Khadar Ibrahim, Executive Director, Somaliland Youth Development Fund • Sadia Alim, Country Director, Plan International Somalia and Somaliland Together, we’re investing in youth-led initiatives that promote resilience, creativity, and positive change. Capacity Building Workshop for Youth-Led Initiatives

Capacity Building Workshop for Youth-Led Initiatives Ubah Centre recently hosted a Capacity Building Workshop, bringing together three youth-led initiatives focused on fostering social cohesion, addressing community challenges, and advocating for human rights through sports and arts. This workshop equipped participants with skills and strategies to strengthen their impact within their communities, empowering them to create lasting change. The initiatives, having successfully completed the training, are now prepared to implement their projects with support from Ubah Organisation, which will continue to provide mentorship and guidance.
